I like to share a little recap of my week at the start of each party:

Last weekend we had a massive ice storm... that wasn't so massive. The kids got off of school on Friday and we did get a lot of ice, but then it was cloudy on Saturday and the temperature stayed just barely above freezing on Sunday and we didn't get the 3 days of freezing rain that was predicted. I was excited, because I had made reservations at The Tavern for Brian's birthday and we didn't have to cancel them. I got the Surf & Turf sampler for my meal and it was SO tasty! On Thursday, Nathan had his last Pinewood Derby and he went with a Star Trek theme for his car.

My main focus of the week was decorating our new IKEA shelves. Oh my goodness, those shelves can hold a lot! These two photos are sneak peaks, but I plan to do the FULL reveal of how I decorated them on January 31st! I can't wait! CommercialSilk sponsored some lovely grass pots for me to add to the shelves and you'll hear more about that in my future post! Brian was out of town for work for a few days this week and it kept me mighty busy with the kids and of course they had a lot of activities in the evening after school. Brian always brings us back gifts when he travels and I hope you tuned into my Instagram Stories to see what he brought back for us!

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea...

That is why I am glad I have  Nestlé products   to rely on for Spring gatherings and when I need to prepare a special treat quickly. I know that  Walmart  has a great variety of  Nestlé products   at my fingertips, which helps me to balance my time be...
