I've been seeing a lot of fall outfits lately, but it is still SO miserably hot here. I would gladly welcome some cooler weather, especially since I'm training for a marathon. This year I've decided to set  three monthly goals  for myself each month. These will be lighter goals that I should be able to finish within the month. I used to do yearly resolutions, but I wanted to try out monthly goals this year. I am really enjoying it so far and I feel like I accomplished a lot with my January-June Goals. The recap for my June Goals will be at the bottom of this post. So, here are my September Goals! 1.  Decorate Inside & Out for the Fall I want to start decorating THIS week for the fall! I hate when I get started late, so I am going to start on September 1st this year! It is still really stinking hot here, though... fingers crossed for cooler weather! The photo above is what my fall porch looked like last year. 2.  Stencil Bathroom Wall This past weekend, Brian and I finally painted the hall bathroom a light (almost white) gray. Today I am sharing my July Peaches and Petals box. This box had some great items in it and also some so-so products, but everything I will use! My favorite item is the BoomBotix Wireless Speaker , which retails on Amazon for around $13. This speaker has a little clip on it and will be great to take along when I go out running with my running group on some of our long marathon training runs! I can pair it with my iPhone and clip it onto my running shorts! I can also move it from room to room in the house and listen to music while I clean, cook, etc. What a nice little gem to have around the house! The wet wring wave towel will also be nice to have after my runs and the daisy headband is just adorable! I'm full of good ideas, tips and tricks. They don't always work out the way I thought they would, but I keep at it until I get what I want. I've been messing around with a lot of paint this year, tweaking my decor to get everything to fit together better.  I've also picked up some things on clearance and made over other things that were sitting in the shed or that I found at yard sales.  Change is good!  Here are some tips and tricks I've used. Well I was all set to share this project several weeks ago except that I wound up not liking the makeover I gave my wardrobe (what else is new??!). But I'm getting ahead of myself... My home office has been in need of an overhaul ever since I settled on cottage style decor for this house.  For some time it's been that room where I dump all the things I can't use in other rooms because I'm not ready to part with any of it - do you have one of those??  But this year I've been really good at getting rid of stuff that I no longer use or need.  That being said, Izzy decided to sample the arm on my living room armchair and since I can't fix what she did, that chair is now in the office as well.
