Sara from Lips by Sara recently contacted me to try out LipSense. I've been curious about LipSense for a long time, but had never tried it myself. She sent me photos of of the most popular colors and I decided to go with a neutral color called Bombshell (because, hey... if it's popular with Jennifer Aniston, it's popular with me!). There were also some other colors that weren't neutrals that I was really tempted to try!

LipSense has been a HOT cosmetic item recently, because it goes on and STAYS on all day! I was eager to try the product, because I am currently going through Invisalign and I have trouble with regular lip colors getting onto my clear Invisalign trays. I did not have this problem at all with LipSense! It really does stay put!

I thought the Bombshell color would be perfect with this colorful outfit that I'm wearing, because I think if I tried to pair it with a purple/berry lipstick it'd be a bit much. I really think this neutral color puts more of a focus on my face and gives it a natural GLOW! :) You'll also see that I'm wearing some adorable beaded tassel earrings from Target's SUGARFIX (by BaubleBar) line.

I received this ruffled tunic last fall and decided to make it Spring-ready with a light floral cardi! I love this outfit so much, it is definitely going to be on repeat all Spring!

Sara was so sweet, she even included Tips & Tricks (i.e.: don't leave your LipSense in your car, always shake it before applying, etc.) and Application Instructions. I am so glad she included these, or I would have done it all wrong! ;)

Here are a few of the colors that LipSense offers. As you'll see above, Jennifer is wearing the Bombshell color that I am wearing in this post. The Praline Rose and Apple Cider look really pretty IMHO, too!!

Sara was also kind enough to offer one of my lucky readers their OWN LipSense and LipSense Moisturizing Gloss! You can enter the giveaway below.

Thank you to Lips by Sara for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this blog post. All opinions are 100% my own. (*This post contains affiliate links.)

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea

Princess Smart Mirror {My Knight and Me}

I’m so excited to tell you about the adventure-packed new medieval animated series for kids from TeamTO,  My Knight and Me ! I'm also sharing a craft that you can work on with your little Princess- a Princess Smart Mirror! This mirror isn't really 'smart', but it is sparkly, wrapped in ribbons and even monogrammed with your favorite princesses initial! In the cartoon  My Knight and Me  they do have a smart mirror and this mirror will prompt your child with plenty of imaginative play! This show is currently airing on the Cartoon Network weekdays at 12 p.m. My Knight and Me is for kids ages 6-10 and follows the quests of a colorful and charismatic trio of knights in shining armor: loyal, street-smart Jimmy the Squire; daring and determined Cat the Princess; and bold and courageous Henri of Orange, Jimmy’s dad and a charmingly inept, yet passionately chivalrous knight who might not be the most efficient protector of the realm – but sure is the funniest! Together, the kni

All opinions are mine alone. #ad #HowDoYouEmergenC  #CollectiveBias Today I'm sharing this delicious Watermelon Orange Juice drink with you... and, you would NEVER guess what the secret ingredient is inside it!  During the winter, we are prone to more germs and I worry about picking them up from my kids, while volunteering at school or just on a dirty door knob!  I have a positive approach to my health and wellness as it's second nature to me. However, things out of my control can make me feel vulnerable.  I came up with this drink, which includes Emergen-C to help keep me feeling refreshed! And, you would never guess it has Emergen-C in it,  which is an easy and delicious way to take vitamins that are important to my healthy lifestyle. Watermelon Orange Juice This drink is really easy to whip up and all you need is fresh watermelon, an orange, mint, water, ice and Emergen-C ! You can even doll it up
