Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week!
Today's Feature is Thanksgiving Turkey Plates by Bloom Designs.
I like to share a little recap of my week at the start of each party:
On Monday we celebrated Halloween! Nathan was the grim reaper (with a voice changer!) and Autumn was Wonder Woman! It was a beautiful night, we didn't even need coats! Thanks to my Invisalign, I haven't been tempted to snack on candy all day... maybe it's a good thing I am going through orthodontics right now. ;) Ok, not really.
On Halloween, we also lost our little Nugget (Nuggie) hamster. We thought perhaps he had an ear infection, but the vet (yes, we took him to the vet) thought since the antibiotics weren't helping that it was indeed a brain tumor. Poor baby. We got Autumn a new hamster (Marshmallow) on Halloween to get her mind off Nugget. It was a sad day for Halloween... but, the new hamster will be loved. The day after Halloween I went to Main Street in St. Charles to do a little Christmas shopping and lunch with some friends I've known since high school. I had a steak sandwich and lobster bisque for lunch.
In running news, I ran on the unpaved part of the trail by my house and it was gorgeous with the fall leaves. BUT, I think I'll stick to the paved trail... I just can't run fast when there are sticks, mud, dips, etc. all over the place. It was worth checking out, though. I also received two copies of the Chicago Tribune in the mail this weekend and my name is IN it for finishing the Chicago Marathon! How exciting!
