Weekly Recap:
Untitled Untitled
Of course the week Brian is OOT for work we had to have an evening and overnight full of tornado watches and HAIL. On Wednesday I went up to school for chapel with the kids and got my ashes. I don't normally give up something for Lent, I just don't think I'd be very good at it. Although, I was tempted to give up FB... I'm sure you don't even need me to explain that one. ;) Unfortunately, I use FB a lot for my business/blog... but, if I could get rid of my personal page (if it wasn't tied to my blog), it'd be gone in a heart beat. Some days I really loathe FB. Does anyone feel the same?

Maybe I should have given up Target for Lent... ;) Target's Dollar Spot had a lot of cute Easter items, but most were $3-5, so I passed. Why is their Dollar Spot getting so expensive lately? I did find a few Easter basket stuffers though. However, Target got me at the jewelry counter with all of the adorable Sugarfix by Baublebar items. I recently got sent a package in the mail with a $20 Target gift card, a Pilot pen and Pilot paper. I haven't signed up for any Pilot campaigns that I know of... I did work on a Vox Box for Pilot with Influenster, so maybe it was a Badge prize? I'm so stumped! Did anyone else get this package? There were no instructions in the package. Anyway, so I spent the $20 Target gift card on some BaubleBar jewelry and you'll see 2 of these pieces on the blog THIS Thursday! I also picked up the Peeps OREOs and YUM!!! Gosh, Easter candy is the best! Maybe I should have given up Easter candy for Lent? Dang! I'm still on a hunt for the Cadbury egg cookies. I must try those!

I have been working on cleaning up an area in my basement where I'm piled a lot of excess craft stuff. I'm trying to work it back into my office/craft area... but, it is a complete mess to go through! I also went to Hobby Lobby this week and they are bursting with cotton decor and also pineapple merchandise with gold accents. LOVE it all.

Nathan was super busy this weekend with a Spring play on Friday evening and a Spelling Bee on Saturday morning. The Spelling Bee was a good experience for him.

Brian got me these WEIRD and sort of creepy face masks for Christmas and Autumn just HAD to try one on. She has really sensitive and I was a little hesitant at letting her put one on her face, but it went ok and we even got a dual cat photo! And, I tried another recipe from the Bread and Wine book this weekend, the Green Well Salad. OH MY GOSH. SOOO good! I will be making it again. I also tried the Blueberry Crisp from her book yesterday and that was delicious, too! If you follow me on IG Stories, you'll see all the recipes I've been trying from her book. She didn't sponsor me to try these recipes, I just really loved the book and the recipes have been fun to whip up. I plan to try one each week and I can't wait to figure out which one I'll be making next!

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea

Princess Smart Mirror {My Knight and Me}

I’m so excited to tell you about the adventure-packed new medieval animated series for kids from TeamTO,  My Knight and Me ! I'm also sharing a craft that you can work on with your little Princess- a Princess Smart Mirror! This mirror isn't really 'smart', but it is sparkly, wrapped in ribbons and even monogrammed with your favorite princesses initial! In the cartoon  My Knight and Me  they do have a smart mirror and this mirror will prompt your child with plenty of imaginative play! This show is currently airing on the Cartoon Network weekdays at 12 p.m. My Knight and Me is for kids ages 6-10 and follows the quests of a colorful and charismatic trio of knights in shining armor: loyal, street-smart Jimmy the Squire; daring and determined Cat the Princess; and bold and courageous Henri of Orange, Jimmy’s dad and a charmingly inept, yet passionately chivalrous knight who might not be the most efficient protector of the realm – but sure is the funniest! Together, the kni

All opinions are mine alone. #ad #HowDoYouEmergenC  #CollectiveBias Today I'm sharing this delicious Watermelon Orange Juice drink with you... and, you would NEVER guess what the secret ingredient is inside it!  During the winter, we are prone to more germs and I worry about picking them up from my kids, while volunteering at school or just on a dirty door knob!  I have a positive approach to my health and wellness as it's second nature to me. However, things out of my control can make me feel vulnerable.  I came up with this drink, which includes Emergen-C to help keep me feeling refreshed! And, you would never guess it has Emergen-C in it,  which is an easy and delicious way to take vitamins that are important to my healthy lifestyle. Watermelon Orange Juice This drink is really easy to whip up and all you need is fresh watermelon, an orange, mint, water, ice and Emergen-C ! You can even doll it up
