Hi everyone! Well... I've been seeing a lot of fall outfits lately, but it is still SO miserably hot here. I would gladly welcome some cooler weather, especially since I'm training for a marathon. Long rungs with 95+% humidity and high temps is NOT fun. Today I'm sharing my new turquoise stud earrings c/o Larimar Bliss and my attempt at 'transitioning' to fall fashion. I wore this flowing kimono with pops of coral and turquoise with breathable white fabrics under it. I'm also wearing my comfortable TOMS wedges, which is my first attempt at shorts + booties and I'm loving this combo! Transitioning to the fall means adding layers, maybe trying booties or even peep toe booties with shorts... and, when the heats dies down I'll also try some darker fabrics, but for now it's just TOO hot to do that. This is what works for me and once the cool weather does hit, you'll see me in a sweater, tall boots with a PSL in my hand. :)

Larimar Bliss designs handcrafted Larimar jewelry for women, which is a strikingly gorgeous turquoise gemstone that can only be found in the Dominican Republic. Other than widely being considered the Apex of turquoise stones, it's also believed to have holistic healing attributes.

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea...

It is still pretty hot here and I'm trying to get in the fall mood... so, I'm sharing some 'light' fall outfits today c/o RoseGal that you won't sweat too much in while the temps are still in the mid to upper 80's! November Monthly Goals

Happy Halloween everyone! We are going to have weather in the mid-70's today, so trick or treating tonight will be nice! Everyone enjoy your day and stay safe... I know I'll be stuffing my face full of my favorite Halloween candies (Snickers, PB Cups, etc., etc.) all day. ;) This year I've decided to set  three monthly goals  for myself each month. These will be lighter goals that I should be able to finish within the month. I used to do yearly resolutions, but I wanted to try out monthly goals this year. I am really enjoying it so far and I feel like I accomplished a lot with my January-October Goals. The recap for my October Goals will be at the bottom of this post. Here are my November Goals! 1.  Decorate House for Christmas I have a Holiday Home Tour I am doing with some other bloggers in early December and I wanted to get a head start on my Christmas decor. I always decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, but we are going to be busy and it'd be nice to decorate BE...
