Today I'm sharing my December Currently post! This is my way of updating all of you on what I've been up to besides the usual DIY/outfit posts!

Family Room Update
Untitled
Ok, ignore the mess in the room... but, we just did a family room update! We had a large projection TV that was old and we replaced it with a flat screen that my hubby mounted on the wall. We also purchased the IKEA Liatorp storage cabinets and I couldn't be more happier! I really just can't wait to decorate this entire space and the shelves. Thankfully there is a lot of inspiration on Pinterest, since this is a popular piece that they sell! My husband even put in surround sound, it is going to be so nice to watch a movie in this room now!

Hometalk Email
Untitled
Last week, Hometalk shared my blog in one of their emails. Usually they link the project back to their site, but they linked it directly to my blog. As a result, I received a ton of clicks directly to my blog! Yay! Thanks, Hometalk! The project they shared was an older project of mine, my Monogramed Fabric Flower Pots.

Christmas Gift Swap
Untitled
Lauren from Mom Home Guide and I did a little Christmas Gift Swap this month! It was so much fun! She made me an adorable gold pillow out of a Target place mat! She also sent me a monogrammed mug, Essie nail color, cookie cutters (I collect them) and peppermint bark! Yum! Thanks again, Lauren! I am so blessed by all of the friendships I've made through blogging!

StriVectinHAIR All Smooth
Untitled
I received another package of goodies c/o StriVectin! This time it was for my hair and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time when I've been trying to style my hair straighter since I don't have to fight the heat and humidity from the summer! In the box I received a bottle of Shampoo and Conditioner, Overnight Anti-Frizz Serum and a Frizz Control Mist. I decided to try these products out for a week and in the photo below you'll see the results.

Untitled
Yes, these products are a total game changer!! I can style my hair and there is absolutely no frizz and it stays straight all day long and even the next morning (thanks to the Overnight Anti-Frizz Serum)! I couldn't be happier and my hair is going to look perfect for the holidays! (And, my husband even noticed! So, yes... I'm definitely happy with these products!)

Emjoi Micro-Pedi

Recently I was sent the Emjoi Micro-Pedi to review and it has pleasantly been part of my spa-night and has easily kept my feet smooth and beautiful! I know it is the winter, but I still like to take care of my feet and to have them look their best, especially since I'm a runner!

The Micro-Pedi is a terrace holiday gift for women AND men and so easy to use! It's small size makes it easy to take along for when you travel, too!

Reading
27362503
This month I finished It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover.

I really enjoyed this book and I couldn't have been more pleased with the ending. This book is about Lily who grows up with a dad that abuses her mom and vows to never marry a man that abuses her. She grew up watching the show Ellen and writing in a diary to Ellen, including how she meets a boy that lives in an abandoned house next door who is homeless. She falls in love with this boy and vows to find him later in Baltimore, where he moves to be with a relative that can care for him. Later on she finds herself in Baltimore and meets the most perfect man... Be sure to read this one to find out what happens.

This also makes a great holiday present for anyone with sensitive skin. You can received 15% off your purchase with the coupon code GIFTSETB. Their eye hydrator is my absolute favorite product from them, it is so soft and gentle on the eyes and does great at moisturizing.

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea...

November Monthly Goals

Happy Halloween everyone! We are going to have weather in the mid-70's today, so trick or treating tonight will be nice! Everyone enjoy your day and stay safe... I know I'll be stuffing my face full of my favorite Halloween candies (Snickers, PB Cups, etc., etc.) all day. ;) This year I've decided to set  three monthly goals  for myself each month. These will be lighter goals that I should be able to finish within the month. I used to do yearly resolutions, but I wanted to try out monthly goals this year. I am really enjoying it so far and I feel like I accomplished a lot with my January-October Goals. The recap for my October Goals will be at the bottom of this post. Here are my November Goals! 1.  Decorate House for Christmas I have a Holiday Home Tour I am doing with some other bloggers in early December and I wanted to get a head start on my Christmas decor. I always decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, but we are going to be busy and it'd be nice to decorate BE...
