12 Months of Goals - March

12MonthsofGoals
Last year I set 3 goals every month for myself and I accomplished a lot! This year, I wanted to down play it even more and just set ONE goal for myself. However, with just one goal each month I hope to devote more time to it. You can find an update on February's Goal below.

In March...
facetubeI'd like to create a Short Form Facebook video! I have been seeing these pop up all over Facebook and I've been interested in trying to do one myself. If you don't know what these are, it is a video that usually goes along with a blog post. It shows how to do something. The video is usually 30 seconds to 1 minute in length. I would like to show how to make a recipe in my video and then I'll have an accompanying blog post of the recipe to go with the video.

I was working on creating some unboxing videos last year that I published on my You Tube page, but I haven't created a video in 5 months! Seriously, that is a long time. I've probably forgotten how to use iMovie! I also have Adobe Premiere with my Adobe Cloud membership and I should try and figure it out eventually... I mean, I am paying for it as part of my package, so why not?

I did do a little research and investing in a tabletop tripod, a horizontal arm (which you'll need to counter balance the weight of it) for the tripod and a 24-70 mm (or wide angle lens) is the best for these types of videos. I thought a macro lens would be great, but it is actually not the way to go for these videos. Since this is my first video, I'm not going to look into buying this equipment until I see if this is something I'd be interested in continuing.

And, this isn't a goal for this month... but, I thought I'd bring it up since it also has to do with Facebook!

Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea...

November Monthly Goals

Happy Halloween everyone! We are going to have weather in the mid-70's today, so trick or treating tonight will be nice! Everyone enjoy your day and stay safe... I know I'll be stuffing my face full of my favorite Halloween candies (Snickers, PB Cups, etc., etc.) all day. ;) This year I've decided to set  three monthly goals  for myself each month. These will be lighter goals that I should be able to finish within the month. I used to do yearly resolutions, but I wanted to try out monthly goals this year. I am really enjoying it so far and I feel like I accomplished a lot with my January-October Goals. The recap for my October Goals will be at the bottom of this post. Here are my November Goals! 1.  Decorate House for Christmas I have a Holiday Home Tour I am doing with some other bloggers in early December and I wanted to get a head start on my Christmas decor.
