UntitledI just received my second Fab Fit Fun box and I am thoroughly pleased! This is the only subscription box I have going right now and it is plenty! Goodies Inside 2016 Winter Fab Fit Fun Box

D.L. & Co. Candle - $45.00
This candle was one of my favorite items in the box! I was sent the Blackberry Nectar in Gold, but there was also a silver candle. I was so happy I received the gold one, it'll match the decor in my home! The scent is amazing and I can use the gold container for decor after the candle burns down.

Gorjana Necklace - $75.00
received the taner toggle lariat in gold (another win since I don't wear a lot of silver jewelry). This necklace will layer wonderfully with my monogrammed necklaces that I have and it also stays put and doesn't swing around or move easily.

Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Body Cream - $24.00
I received this body cream in the Winter in Manhattan Beach scent. It smells great and has been keeping my hands moisturized this winter!

O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face - $44.00
This product is really intriguing... You spray it on and then you massage your skin with your fingertips and you will really see some of your dull skin come off! It made my skin feel so soft and it really did glow afterwards. I will definitely be using this product a couple of times a  week!

Starlight Pin
Starlight's mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children. They devote 85 cents to every dollar to programs that brighten the lives of these children.

Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara - $20.00
I was really excited to receive this mascara from Butter cosmetics! It has a little ball on the tip, which works great at getting mascara on the lashes in the inner corner of my eyes! I also really like the fullness and volume it gives my lashes. It is definitely my favorite mascara right now!

Moleskine 2017 Weekly Planner - $20.95
I already have an Erin Condren planner, so I am trying to figure out what to use this planner for or who to give it to. It is really nice and even has stickers in the back to mark special events.

Marie Mae Company Thank You Card Set - $24.00
These are the cutest thank you cards and I can't wait to use them to thank some people for Christmas gifts I received.

Total Retail Value of Box: $252.95

I was really, really pleased with ALL of the items in this box! I will definitely continue this subscription for now! To find out more about FabFitFun, click HERE.

5 Ways to Bring Spring Into Your Home

The weather here in St. Louis has gone from 70 degrees to tornado watches/warnings and now to possible snow/ice this weekend. Whew! I am SO ready for Spring and for Daylight Saving Time. Today I'm sharing with you how to bring Spring to your home sooner with 5 Ways To Bring Spring Into Your Home . Bringing a little Spring into your home is rather easy. You don't need to change up your entire decor, at least not yet... What I try to do is add little touches here and there. 1. Spring Wreaths One way that I bring Spring into my home is by placing a Spring wreath on my front door or on some of the interior doors in the home. My absolute favorite Spring wreath that I've done is my Split Pea Wreath below, but I'm currently working on a Tulip wreath which I'll be sharing in a couple of weeks! I'm also sharing a couple of other Spring wreaths that I've made below: Split Pea Wreath with Burlap Bow Some other Spring wreaths I've designed:   Simple Spring Hoop Wrea...

Creating a Wider Doorway

My kitchen has no outside walls. That means it has no windows directly to the outdoors. UGH. I love light, I love sunshine streaming through windows and lighting up my house. This was not the case in my kitchen. Last year I renovated the space and added a pass through window in one of the walls.  Now the sun can reach the kitchen - hooray!!  But it is still not a terribly well-lit space. Cue my desire to open the wall between the living and dining rooms - the dining room is the brightest room in the house.  That, however, will be a big job because the wall is a supporting wall (at least I'm treating it that way, even if the building inspector didn't think it was).  I decided to tackle the opening from the living room into the kitchen instead since I know for sure that wall isn't supporting. Open House Sundays #10 - Cloches & Lavender

Welcome to Open House Sundays where we get a personal invitation to tour through a different blogger's house every week! This week's tour is courtesy of Cindy from Cloches and Lavender .  Cindy is one of the first bloggers I met when I began blogging, her home is brand new (she just moved in earlier this year) and it is GORGEOUS.  Cindy has the best faux painting skills in blogland.  Her pieces are beautifully done using appliqués in a lot of cases - they truly look antique!   Enjoy this Christmas tour of her new home! ***************** Read more »
